Until official Smiling Friends plushies are able to release, I might just get the ones that are being sold on Etsy. Starting with....
Alan is a separate project of his own...
The escapades of an autistic daughter and her dad. Follow along to see what oddball posts will surface from the depths of the basement. In the words of Courtney Campbell, "Come on in and spend some time with us!"

My new friend told me that "The Animation Show" DID get a 2nd and 3rd volume, and those volumes did earn DVD releases. I guess we just never really knew at the time.... Until now. 2nd and 3rd volumes have a lot more of Don's stuff on it.
Now to get back to doing my slave labor.
Working on the next scene. Shannon's younger brothers are about to show up!
My new writer friend is now a Mitch Hedberg fan. I've been sending a lot of my personal favorite jokes so I can expose my friend to some of the greatest comedic writing that CANNOT BE REPLICATED!
Garage Sale Sunday is coming up this weekend! Gonna see if we can arrange a meetup with Kristin and her parents at Antique World. I think our tolerance towards pollen should have built up by now. Hopefully we won't be feeling awful that day.
Multi family sale was a bust. Only 3 families participated due to weather concerns. But I still made out good anyway, and I have $16 left for a trip to Target on Monday.
As for the comics. LOZ and Bob's Burgers were the highlight of that haul. I never even KNEW Bob's Burgers had comics made for the show until this point.
Schedule
Sometime in the morning: Multi Family Yard Sale
2:30: Mom and I leave to meet up with Kristin.
7:00: Girl's night with another friend from our college program (and I'm making pride bracelets).
Was also on the phone with my aunt. We're making important plans for her visit in August....
I really wanna get the purple one.
FURBIES! For a new generation!
We should check on the ones under your bed for old batteries, come to think of it...Who knows, we might find some Furbies at the multi family yard sale this weekend. (I don't have to meet up with Kristin until 3:00).
Maybe we'll find some VHS tapes!
Oh no...Not THE DONUT MAN!!!!!
...And the June Nintendo Direct just premiered. (PLEASE PLASE PLASE GIVE US A TOMODACHI LIFE SEQUEL!!!!)
UPDATE: No Tomodachi :( but we did get some other games I look forward to getting alongside TOTK
My spirit animal!
Also, I noticed something today while shopping on Marketplace. Let's review tonight (while tackling some dishes together).
From theonion.com article "Things You Should Never Say to a Marijuana Mom":
Mom's working 2 nights this week. Maybe we could start coming up with how to help when she's laid up after surgery soon. Now that I mention it, I do have something else I wanna look into tonight.
UPDATE: After taking a 2 and a half hour nap this afternoon, I went to play my Nintendo Wii and noticed the motion sensor was disconnected. Do you think that you could help me plug it back in later, dad?
We've been spending the entire afternoon watching Home Movies and Dr. Katz. And we got dad a Looney Toons boxset as his present. So he'll probably be binging that whilst I do some rewrites and stuff. Yay...
So I've heard through the grapevine that Mitch Hedberg had a pilot for possibly getting his own show on MTV???
I think he mentions this in this final interview from a mere 2 WEEKS before his passing....
I have no doubt that Lynn might have some information on the subject as well.
Here ya go!
Chicken & Waffles Pizza?!? |
I was talking with dad about going to a flea market that's out of town next weekend. I haven't been to this particular flea market since before the pandemic, and I've scored a few items in the past. Here's to hoping we finally get to make it this year. ...Obviously not this weekend since I have film class followed by the monthly furmeet.
Can't believe we're already halfway through June already!Today's project: Home Movies REVAMPED season 2 Episode 11 "Babys on Fyre"
Slept until 10:00, worked at pantry for at least an hour, doing some writing as we speak, life is good.
Back in my "pre atheist" days, I helped out with a couple VBS camps at one of our old churches. My main field was with the skits usually done at the end of the day. But the church I helped out with would shove the actors with different child groups last minute. And I'd always get stuck with the preschoolers...Yay...
So while I was reorganizing my book\game shelves, I found this reusable pencil holder I made at VBS back in 2017.
And I thought that my dad and I could remake it into the Soup2Nuts can to go with my Soup2Nuts section of my desk. Great idea, no?
Gonna have to put off the "seeing what we can do while mom is laid up" portion of our evening. I pulled a muscle in my neck and not only did I NOT get any sleep last night, but I don't think I'd be capable of learning how to do dishes tonight.
I heard you and Mom talking at 3:00 this morning, but couldn't make out what was going on. Sorry to hear about your sore neck!
So maybe we should just stick to our Soup2Nuts marathon today. Or we can switching things up a bit and do a "Kids Shows I Grew Up With From Overseas" marathon.
I actually still have that one Hit Entertainment compilation DVD I got at that yard sale, too.
From today's craiglist:
And, no, we're not getting this! |
And I thought my random Bob the Builder hyperfixation was out of the blue. But anyways, I found something on marketplace and was wondering if I could message the seller?
There were other items aside from what's shown here. I was just too lazy to take any pictures. Plus dad and I are suffering from hay fever right now due to the dangerously high pollen count.
Me and one of my friends from college class are discussing making music videos with my Build a Bears.First off, be sure to listen to the OST from the 3DS title.
I've been going through my 2nd Tomodachi Life island and cherry picking which Miis I wanna import to my upcoming 3rd island. Some of them might actually get their own plush commission too!
Where we live, we've got a little chain called "Mighty Taco." And let me tell ya, my parents always treated it as the to die ...
