Daddy Daughter Days: South Park VS The Ukraine War

The new South Park episode was just announced this morning, with the title being "Back To The Cold War." Pretty obvious to what they're referencing here...

The plot, from what I can see right now, is about Mackey obsessively enacting nuke bomb drills during school hours. I'd recommend watching the preview to get the full story.

I really do hope Matt and Trey handle this topic with respect since there is a war going on as of now. I mean, they've handled other dark subject matter while trying not to make it the whole plot of the episode. And if I like this episode or at the very least find it funny, I'll probably have to lie and say I hated it so I don't get cancelled.

You and Mr. Mackey share the same controversial opinion about the VHS format. CANCELLED!!!

Daddy Daughter Days: Second Day On The Job.

Dad and I have food pantry this afternoon, followed by pizza later in the evening. Plus the pastor allowed us to fill in our OWN order to use since we've been short on cash the past week.

Anyways, had an absolute blast at last night's meetup. My friend Vizorr did make it after all and my mom probably misheard them a couple weekends ago when they said they couldn't come. Did some filming, hung out, ordered cheese sticks, and spent $11 on shitty quarter machine knick-knacks. (I've got a soft spot for those things....)

Shannon got himself some bling. Will see if I can use that in a future video...

Gonna do some editing now :D

Daddy Daughter Days: Good Times All Around!

Tonight is the monthly fur-meet. I'll be charging my camera up so I can get some pretty dope footage. Alas, I won't be filming a new episode of my plush series, as I promised my fans that the NEXT episode would take place when my Budsie arrives. I might stick to making a slide show or music video perhaps.
Joseph won't be attending sadly. :(

At least we've got PIZZA! Tomorrow....

Daddy Daughter Days: Thrillseeker!

So mom and I went to the mall yesterday as she offered to take me to get my frog EARLY and save my dad a trip. Looks like BAB was still bustling with customers when we got there. Sadly, not a frog was in sight. Am probably gonna buy some other stuffed animal skins on their official website so dad and I can return to the store and stuff them ourselves.

WAIT THEY'VE GOT ANOTHER BUNNY?!?

Might wait till the hype in store dies down so I can go in peace and stuff my plushies. Besides, we're booked tomorrow with the fur-meet and possible baking of cookies.

Ultimately settled on getting this one first since she's on sale.

Also, bonus pic from Ponytown last night!

Uh-oh! BrewStew is back and lookie what he has!

Daddy Daughter Days: Spring Sale?

Build A Bear is holding their Spring Sale on their website. A couple of items are at some pretty affordable prices like $21-$15. Alas, I'm getting the green frog this weekend after mine and dad's mall walk. (Just trying to fit in).

Schedule is the usual grocery shopping and other stuff. Well, minus our takeout since mom suggested we save the money for the snack bar on Saturday night. Also, no new South Park episode dropped this week. Thankfully, they'll be airing a new episode on the 2nd. So there's a win!

Now if only I could try and block out the whole "Ukraine" thing from appearing on my every social media platform possible...

Daddy Daughter Days: A Wonderful Kind Of Ending

Arthur just aired its series finale a couple of days ago. I have yet to see it, but DID see the last portion of it, where it featured all the characters as adults! Apparently Arthur becomes a graphic novelist and is writing a book about his daily challenges as a kid that we all watched growing up. Tis a very sweet ending and a great sendoff to the show.

DW becoming a COP of all things was pretty hilarious!

And I know for a fact that dad prefers AOK'S adaptation of Arthur as a grown up. Maybe we could watch the finale this weekend since its up on YouTube?

No spoilers! (Was there a dark, goth remake of Bionic Bunny? No! Don't tell me!)

Daddy Daughter Days: Nothing Until Thursday.

That's right. The next 2 days will be the infamous stay at home days! And thank GOD! Because that will give me time to worry about school and my YouTube channel! Still no news from Budsies on the status of Jimmy Monet as of right now. I always check every morning when I'm on the computer, but who knows! Might get an update later? We shall see...

(We've also got the local fur-meet on Saturday night)!

Got a ton of singles and quarters to go towards the arcade.

Now to decide which plush to take with me!

Found some Build A Bear plushies I plan on buying soon! (All 3 will be purchased unstuffed so I can stuff them in-store).

Anna Sophia
Violet
Livia

Yes. I'm an impulse spender AND child at heart. Sue me! (Btw. I'll be getting the famous Spring Green Frog on the next mall walk, before the fur-meet later on).

In the words of Fred Stoller. "I live on the edge!"

Daddy Daughter Days: School? No. Breakfast For Lunch? HELL YES!

Mom and I have homeschool group today. Afterwards, we need to make a stop at my doctors office to update my vax card. As well as some grocery shopping at Tops and Big Lots. (I can already TASTE the breakfast pizza).

Oh yeah, we're going out for lunch too. I already know what I'm getting... (Better not be KFC!)

My mom and I wound up binging a few Arthur episodes last night as Cyberchase wasn't on last night due to the "Arthur Mega Marathon" playing 24\7. Mimi was also entertaining us by jumping either in the air or on top of the entertainment center. We all conked out at about 11 pm.

Daddy Daughter Days: First *OFFICIAL* Day On The Job

Dad and I have landed ourselves some work at the church food pantry, with me getting extra wage from mother for doing so. Mom suggested dad and I bake cookies NEXT weekend since both of us will probably be rung out from work. And God forbid would we wanna do anything else. Which, not gonna lie, seems accurate in our situation.

So we had to visit my grandma last night because her faucet was acting up, and a couple handles weren't working. So dad got himself some labor hours with that, even after a mall-walk. So after that, we all ordered take out while I ran a King of the Hill marathon on the TV.

So yeah. Pretty fun day yesterday. Let's see what my capabilities are at my new job today.

Daddy Daughter Days: Snow Check

Just as quickly as the snow melted a few days ago, it came right back.

There's expected to be 25 mph winds ALL DAY (if I'm remembering that correctly) ...

I have a bad feeling that the mall walk will be cancelled until tomorrow. We shall see....

UPDATE: A change of venue has saved the mall-walk. The baking of cookies, however, has been postponed.

Say hello to PASCAL!

The mall we went to is the one I normally go to with my Godmother. And today was one of the rare occasions where I go to Build a Bear without her company. My dad got to experience the hustle and bustle of playing GOD! But seriously, it was MOBBED at our store today! Likely owing to the holiday weekend. Planning on going back next Saturday for the popular green frog that all the LGBT people are dying over!

Daddy Daughter Days: Extra Salary Means Extra Fun!

Mall-walk #2 tomorrow! I've about $31 in spending money and headed to another relatively small mall...and no, I didn't mean to make it rhyme! But it all depends on schedule.

Been a while since we set foot in an FYE.

See, my grandma is having MORE faucet troubles and my dad might need to go have a look at it. So mall walking might need to be put off until Sunday after our time at food pantry.

I want to stop at the hardware store to get a new set of handles for the faucets on her laundry tub.  Also, she's saying the bathroom faucets are hard to turn. We just replaced the cartridges a month or so back.

Note, too, that I'll have to stop at the library near her house to pick up some books.  Yeah, Saturday is filling up fast.

At least we have cookies!

And Oreo Cakesters :3

Daddy Daughter Days: City Episode?

The new South Park episode titled "City People" just dropped last night. I'm about to watch it right now since it seems WAAYYYYYYY more promising than the dumpsterfire that was "The Big fix."

PLUS ITS A LIANE EPISODE! CAN'T MISS THAT!

So dad and I have an experiment we'll be trying out over the weekend. We're gonna try gluing magnets to the different body parts of each character and place them on a cookie sheet (with some paper as a background) and see if it will be a success! If not, then we'll just keep on trying!

Let's hope my video review on "City People" doesn't get copyright claimed this time.

EXCITING UPDATE: I just finished the episode. It was LEAGUES better than Pajama Day! Plus our favorite blue haired God had a big role in the episode! (10\10)

Daddy Daughter Days: Our First Production!

Getting back to the YouTube channel I originally made for this blog, which as of now only has some slides shows from various plush photography adventures. I'm finally gonna get cracking on an actual project for the channel.

Enter Doink.

Doink is a PBS Kids OC I created a few days ago. I've been jacked up on old PBS recordings\bumpers from the 90s and early 2000s. And I thought it would only be fair to make her own series! I can't think of a good name for it other than "Doink" but I'll come up with something. This show will consist of hybrid animation with a combination of digital animation and paper cutout animation. Like South Park in a sense.

Doink's model is almost complete. Afterwards, I'll have dad help me make models for Dot and Dash. What are your thoughts on this?

Well try a few tests to see what the best way to photograph this is.  We have a tripod and a ring light.  I suggest we do a combination of cut-out animation overlaid with 2D for things like facial expressions.  It's Experiment Time!!!

Man. They're REALLY milking this franchise DRY at this point! (Still gonna see it tho).

On another note, I made Doink's legs and feet!
Just gotta piece some parts together like her bangs, which just slide onto her head.

Daddy Daughter Days: Our Next Bake

Trying to think of what dad and I should bake this weekend. We did walnut brownies last weekend (which turned out really good surprisingly). But I'm not sure what to make next. Maybe chocolate chip cookies? Since Wegmans doesn't carry those giant ones I like to heat up in the microwave.

Was thinking we could pick up the ingredients on our way back from the mall-walk, to save mom some trouble on Thursday. IF that even makes sense...

Will we actually get a good episode after last week's disaster?

I've heard about the movie linked below. Maybe we can go see it if it hits theaters?

Speaking of animated movies!
Gonna try my attempt at paper\cutout animation. Yknow? Like South Park!

What is Cartman holding? Is he delivering pizzas now?

Daddy Daughter Days: Valentine's Day!

Yep. Another holiday I don't celebrate often. I mean, sure. I get a card from my parents and usually a $50 bill from my grandma, but I don't really have much else to do after that. I mean I don't have a friend or even a boyfriend or girlfriend to celebrate it with. But I do wanna wish a Happy V-Day to those who do! So Happy Valentine's Day! <3

(Now if only my family and I could order one of those heart shaped pizzas we see online).

Some good news is I got a new job working at the food pantry at my parent's church! So there's some extra money in my pocket (courtesy of my mom, not the church). I'll alternate between sorting out food and keeping watch of the pastor's kids (10 and 6 respectively). KA-CHING!

As noted in the previous entry, I conked out at 6:30 last night. I was feeling kind of out-of-it this morning, but was able to shower, shave & get dressed. Unfortunately, I only made it about half-way to work before some violent "stomach cramps" kicked in. 😬

I'll spare everyone the gruesome details, but I texted my boss that I was going to be late owing to some "digestive issues" and high-tailed it back home to see how this was going to play out.

So, yeah, happy valentine's day, one and all.

UPDATE: Had to run to a doctor's appointment this afternoon, Amazingly, they didn't nag at my weight! But mom and I stopped at Denny's for lunch on the way over. And we also stopped at the Goodwill across the street!

Here's my haul!

This golden Glisten from BAB! (Really nice condition too)

A medium sized Twinkle Toes (NWT too)

Random Barbie doll that caught my eye (as well as a few playsets that I passed on)

And this monkey from BAB that part of me wants to name "Captain Huggyface"

And the cherry on top? "We Don't Talk About Bruno" was playing on 98.5 fm on our way to the doc's office! What a day!

Glad to hear "all's well that ends well!"  I bought some store-brand Immodium on my way back into work and seem to be doing OK.  Now, about that heart-shaped pizza...

Told mom about "The Za." She told me you can pick one up on the way home, but I need to give you a heads up on two things.

1) You'll need to pay for it yourself
2) Riva's is closed today. But I think Airport Pizza carries heart shaped pizzas. So you might wanna check them out on the way back. And remember. Pep and onions.

Besides, I could go for some pizza myself too.

Daddy Daughter Days: Superbowl Sunday

Yep. Today is a holiday that most people will commonly enjoy. And that is the SUPERBOWL!!!!

Honestly, I really don't see the hype. Its literally just football. That plus the price of chicken wings have gone up, so many people who invited their homies over to have pizza and wings (maybe a few cold ones too), will now have to pay like...$49 for a giant order of wings.

Dad and I are just gonna stay home. Though....he DID hint at bowling on our way home from dinner last night....

"We Shall See" am I right?

As it turned out, between playing guitar at church, working at the food pantry and helping with some household chores I was so wrung out that I actually went to bed at 6:30!  I slept until the alarm clock went off 11 hours later.  So, there was no bowling.

Daddy Daughter Days: What Was Once a "Fitness" Day.

Dad and I have officially started doing mall walking on weekends. As I've said yesterday, we took a 15 minute walk around the mall, then we looked at some of our favorite stores, but before we could take the last lap....I uh...had to take an emergency bathroom break. (The toilets were SO SLOW at flushing)! But looks like we showed up at the right time too, because our Pokemon guy, Phil was there!

Got $2 worth of his famous bootleg figures from Aliexpress!

We then stopped at a Wal-Mart on the way home to grab a V-Day gift, I haven't been inside a Wal-Mart (outside of grabbing subs) for 4 years, plan on going again in the near future hopefully!

then it was time for one of my favorite parts of the day!

BROWNIE MAKING!

Yep, a day that started off as the importance of exercise turned into stuffing our faces with gooey brownies. AND we're going out for pizza later, so well done!

Mimi wanted in on the brownie making action.

I cracked some eggs and poured in the vegetable oil, did some stirring too! Hopefully me and dad's first bake will turn out well! :D

Making plans for our next mall-walk soon! And I know just the one to pick!

OUCH! 😬😬😬

Daddy Daughter Days: Really, YouTube?!

My "Big Fix" review was copyright claimed by Viacom last night, rendering it unable to broadcast on my channel. But fear not, for I will create a Google Drive to house the review for all to see. Sooooo Problem solved maybe?

Will make a video when its posted to Google Drive.

I bet the review could be reworked to evade the copyright claim police.  I mean, Saberspark, Shady Do Rags, etc. are able to do it. (Use of stills, reversed videos, careful music selection, and so on.)

So dad and I have some plans for tomorrow. First we'll be starting weekend mall walks because my doctors have been giving me the constant chitchat about my figure. So I've decided to do something about it! We'll be doing a 10-15 minute walk around the mall, take a small break before checking the stores we wanna look at, take another break, and do another 10-15 minute lap on our way out.

And to top it all off, dad and I will be making brownies together afterwards!

Yum!
UPDATE: THE GOOGLE DRIVE IS AVAILABLE!

Daddy Daughter Days: A Giant Piece Of Shit.

Watched South Park's latest episode, "The Big Fix." It really wasn't that great.

I mean, it seemed promising at first with the weed humor and "Black Puppy White Puppy" but Stan became an unlikable asshole halfway through. My review will be coming out on Saturday, just in time for me and dad's first ever mall-walk!

4\10 for this GIANT POS!

BAD NEWS:

Daddy Daughter Days: Cooking Mii!

So my dad and I made a comic strip this past weekend. About how I would allegedly be making dinner for the family that evening, only for dad to find out I "made dinner" on a video game called "Cooking Mii!" based off the "Cooking Mama" franchise.

Dad watched some gameplay footage on YouTube while drawing some frames for the upcoming short. He was less than impressed. I have to get an AR card off eBay in order to have our "Mii Simulation" clip where our Miis are eating the dinner I prepared for them.

If there are people that want a more....REALISTIC take on Cooking Mama, may I suggest this game by PETA???

Daddy Daughter Days: Some Big Fixes

Turns out I'm still not doing jack shit diet wise. I'm currently taking a break for the sake of my mental health and my own well being. My doctor recommend I dance to some of my favorite songs, but I'm not confident in doing that. We could always resort to bowling at this months meetup perhaps. (I'm basically saying I wanna go bowling this month cuz my fat, unattractive body needs it).

Editing this late and night because I made a lil nostalgic doodle.
DOINK!

Daddy Daughter Days: The Real Mitchells

Last year, Sony Pictures released a new movie called "The Mitchells VS The Machines" and my dad and I heard rave reviews about it for the past month or so. I rewatched it last night and this morning just for the sake of it. I really forgot how cool and colorful it was, with the silly internet aesthetic that they used.

This was one of my favorite parts in the movie (besides that crazy Furby scene)

My dad actually thought they took inspiration from US! Which might be possible in a way??? (dw, folks. I know he was joking).

So we got news on the next South Park episode coming out on Wednesday. Its called "The Big Fix" and it has to do with Token and his family having dinner with the Marsh clan over at...You guessed it, Tegridy Farms! Even though this concept has beaten the dead horse for YEARS now, in very interested to see how this goes....

Daddy Daughter Days: Curiosity Doesn't Kill The Cat!

The cat caper was a success! Adoption papers were quick and easy. And little Mimi took a liking to dad pretty quickly!

Say hello to Mimi!
We did have a wild cat chase a while ago where she hid under the couch after I went to get my camera just so I could take a few pictures of her. Still trying to recover from that btw.

But anyway, my South Park review got a lot of praise for the way I explained things, which is certainly mind blowing as I'm personally not good at remembering OR explaining certain topics. Then again, the script was based off my LIVE REACTION to the episode. Can't wait for this week's!

Dad and I will just be staying home just to watch the little one. We'll probably order some pizza or something and have dad pick it up while I keep an eye on Mimi.

I'll be a good kitty <3

Daddy Daughter Days: Release The Kitties...

Yep, a quote from Nathan Explosion that PERFECTLY describes our day.

So we got a call from the animal shelter, the cat we initially wanted is already adopted, but we did find one on the site this morning. A little kitten named Mimi (around 1-2 years old). My dad found this one, and another cat named Judy that he particularly liked. The two of us are gonna head to the pet store where Mimi and Judy are located, and quite possibly take one home. (The ONE being Mimi unless otherwise).

Will update you once we get back from the pet store.

Until then, enjoy this screenshot I took in ACNH last night.

UPDATE: We're set to meet up at the pet store at 7:00 tonight, so all three of us can be in on the kitty-cat caper.  More to come...

Daddy Daughter Days: New Cat-Didates

We're currently in the process of adopting another cat. One has already grabbed a hold of me and my mom's hearts, but her (the cat's) adoption form wasn't up on the site this morning. We're gonna call the shelter today and ask what happened, cuz their site can be VERY faulty at times.

I don't get it. Mom already submitted the "adoption papers" so we should have first dibs. Has she called the Ten Lived folks about this?

So on the topic of that new South Park episode. I thought it was REALLY good! It felt like a classic episode that would be from the first 3 seasons. PC'S part of the episode was VERY agonizing to watch, but as one of my friends said "Queen Wendy put him in his place." (Yes, my friend ACTUALLY said that). But it was a very good start to the 25th season. Keep it up, Matt and Trey! :D

Pajama Day gets a 9.5\10 👍

Daddy Daughter Days: PAJAMA DAY!

The new SP episode premiered last night on CC (Comedy Central). Pretty excited to actually see it for myself. A friend told me its available on the official CC website now, kudos to them! I plan on doing reviews as each episode releases.

And just like the episode, I'm having my own pajama day! by creating sprites for the video!

Tempted to give my character blue hair

There's A First Time For Everything

Where we live, we've got a little chain called "Mighty Taco." And let me tell ya, my parents always treated it as the to die ...
